Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has won numerous awards for her works. She has been a vocal advocate for the rights of animals. Ali MacGraw is known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. In New York, she was born into an artistic family. At first she began as an photographer's assistant. In the future her work changed into directing and modeling. In her first two films, she was recognized as a winner of the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international fame along with several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. Within three years, MacGraw was ranked as the top female box office starter in the world. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph, hand-prints and foot prints in the year 1972. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv miniseries The Winds of War. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
