Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, singer and actor well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. Following that, she performed on Broadway for a number of shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner became big in the National Theatre. In 1957, she also launched her first album of music entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise made her foray into Hollywood as Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The film was praised widely as well as Louise won an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. As a student in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. In 1964, she signed to CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career effectively with a variety of roles between Broadway television and Hollywood portraying somber characters as contrasted to her perception of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she also has made an impact as a successful director in numerous well-known TV shows such as Supernatural or The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August in 1965. Her family then relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection to play the lead.
